Sorry for the cellphone pics.. I've been waiting to install a new EFI Harness for some time now, but was waiting for the next time I was going to pull the motor, and well, it didn't take very long..
I ended up bending the tab a bit so that it was more flush with the rod, installed a new E-clip, and even put a baby weld on the outside so the sucker can never come off again. I was planning on doing the ASH pcv breather filter setup, but the filters were getting in the way of the piping, so I opted to just route them back into the turbo inlet for now until I can figure out a catch can location..
Was also a good time to get the degreaser bottle and clean up the engine bay/subframe a bit
I had resealed my pan last year with the orange RTV, but noticed it was slightly "sweating" in certain areas. So I went to work, clean up the pan, and got the good stuff.
Then I felt WELL it sure wouldn't be fun to install inlet piping with the motor in, so lets just do it now. ASH Inlet and IC piping kit
V3's
Only had to do slight grinding to the driver side mount, nothing crazy though
New EFI Harness, thanks Bernie!
The fun part, bashing the plate behind the firewall to get the harness to feed through.
Re-clocking recircs, ended up going much smoother than I anticipated, didn't even need to buy new hoses.
Back in she went, ended up deleting Hicas as well, and went with the full NA setup
where it belongs
Piping installed
Just waiting for the Hicas bar to arrive, new tires, and hopefully will be putting some miles on it in the coming weeks. Itching to see how it feels with the piping now, after a boost leak test that is...
